چکیده

Helminth parasites secrete several types of biomolecules to ensure their entry and survival in hosts. The proteins secreted the extracellular environment participate pathogenesis anthelmintic immune responses. aim this work was identify functionally annotate excretory/secretory (ES) monogenean ectoparasite Rhabdosynochus viridisi through bioinformatic approaches. A total 1655 putative ES were identified, 513 (31%) annotated UniProtKB/Swiss-Prot database, 269 (16%) mapped 212 known protein domains 710 GO terms. We identified six multifunctional proteins. 556 179 KEGG pathways 136 KO. ECPred predicted 223 enzymes (13.5%) 1315 non-enzyme (79.5%) from secretome R. viridisi. 1045 (63%) as antigen with a threshold 0.5. also venom allergen-like Our results suggest that are involved evasion strategies some may contribute immunogenicity.

Molecular Biology of Host-Parasite Interactions

This volume contains the papers presented at the first UCLA Symposium on Molecular Biology of Host-Parasite Interactions, held in January 1983. Given the rapid growth of the study of molecular parasitology, this symposium offers a timely attempt to integrate related disciplines. While some of the works were previously published in the Journal of Cellular Biochemistry, the book organizes the man...

Holobiont–Holobiont Interactions: Redefining Host–Parasite Interactions

The term holobiont (Greek, from holos, whole; bios, life; -ont, to be; whole unit of life) describes a long-term physical association between different living organisms [1]. Theoretically, this definition encompasses all symbiotic associations (along the mutualism–parasitism continuum) spanning all taxa. However, in most cases, the term holobiont is restricted to the host and its associated mut...

Host Immune Mechanisms of Parasite Destruction

Mechanism of Immunity The immune system exhibits a range of responses involving humoral factors, immunoglobulin, and sensitized calls of the lymphoid system. The immunoglobulin which posses antibody activity comprise distinct classes of which IgG, IgM, IgA and IgE are the most important, IgG is the predominant class circulating in the blood stream. IgA may be involved in local immune response t...
